Plating on Composite Material
Metal matrix composites (MMC), which are metal-based composites combined with ceramics or carbon, are ideal for heat sinks due to their excellent heat dissipation properties. We have developed a tailored plating process to accommodate different surface conditions and compositions of various composites. This plating process adds value, such as improved solderability.
The combination of precious metal plating allows for brazing and soldering.

Improves wear resistance by improving surface fragility.
By covering the surface with platingl, substrate dust can be prevented.

We support plating on metal ceramics (such as AlSiC, CySiC, and etc.) and metal carbon composites (AlC, CuC, and etc.), and metal powder composites (such as CuMo, CuW, and etc.)
